How are the eggs and babies coming along? Any updates? I think I may have ANOTHER dead one in the incubator, What is going on. Am I doing something wrong?
Another egg that has stopped developing? If an egg stops developing it can sometimes be because of bacteria that's got through the shell (e.g. if the incubator or shell wasn't clean.....I've had a dirty shell kill an egg). How many days into the incubation was the egg? If your incubator is clean, the eggs are clean, your temp and humidity are fine and the eggs are being turned at least three times a day in opposite directions each time then you are doing all the right things.

Eggs were set on November 17. Incubator was clean I wiped the eggs down when they arrived, let them sit on night and them put them in the next n ight. Temps been around 101 humidity around 65 to 75. I spray the eggs with a liught mist of warm water once a day. I read somewhere that it will help the shells be easier for the ducks to get through. You spary them up until a week before hatch date. They get turned about 4 to 5 times a day opposite diretions and placenents. Fat end always downward. I wash my hands with dial everytime tool
I also think I might have 2 eggs with 2 babies in them. I can almost see 2 heads. I know...... those will die. I just can't seem to get a break on these babies. This is my last batch until sprng. Honey said this is it. So I have to at least get oone or two alive fuzzy butts.
Humidity seems a bit high for the incubation period. I'd drop it to around 55. Put it up to 70-ish for the last three days. Fpr days 0 - 25 the main thing is to adjust the humidity to get the air cell right (put humidity up if air cell developing too quickly and put humidity down if air cell developing too slowly).
