I've never had an egg smell THAT bad before. Just funky and then I remove it. It just doesn't happen to me that often I guess.

well I candled on day 10 and everybody was fine. Next day I opened the incubator and about got sick from the smell. It was bad. I've had 2 now this batch,

I've had bad eggs but they went purple coloured before I could smell anything.

You may remember that I have two ducks sitting on eggs on the same nest. When they both get off I rush in to candle and remove anything that's no go. The ducks have also thrown out (or eaten as far as I can tell

) several eggs. So, with all that, they are down to one developing egg
