Guess who's been on ebay?

I messaged the seller and asked them to write "Fragile: Skunk Oil" on the box in big letters. The eggs weren't so pricey, so I figured I'd mess with my postal idiot.

I need to stop hatching.

Glad to see your starting to go proactive with your hatch eggs! ;) I seem to recall doing that very thing. Worked like a charm for my sister and I!

I'm done with buying eggs. But I am debating on putting my cayuga breeding pair into their own pen... if my duck would start laying eggs. She's almost 18 weeks old, so it may be a few more weeks. How long between breeding and laying fertile eggs, anyways?

Can't wait to see how the condition of the eggs when you get them! What type did you buy??
Just some khaki campbells. Impulse buy. Probably going to be farm birds.

Thanks for the idea! I hope it works. They'll either be perfect or there'll be smashed by some idiot at a sorting center who wants to cause an evacuation and work stoppage.

Marty, so glad to see you here, and hope to help change your color to a more sunny yellow... or even brick red (that's my personal favorite).

Whenever they feel like it... or so I'm told. Haha.

It'll be 5.5 to 6 months, Iain. No need to isolate them yet. Wait until she's been laying a month before attempting to make fertile hatching eggs. Like other birds, the firsts are small, sometimes missing egg white or egg yolk, you know the drill. My cayugas laid at 6. Some pekings wait just a bit longer still.
