Chuck E. Cheese - I get it now. Sounds like a recipe for pizza-fuelled mass hyperactivity and hysteria. I am interested in this on their website: "Canadian locations use Soya Beef and Ham in place of Beef and Canadian Bacon respectively." Are all Canadian children vegetarian?

Well, if you cross your black splash roo, with your lav hen, and then cross the babies, you will get lavenders. Or I will just send you eggs in a few months.

i thought if you breed a black to anything you get a black????
UH why cant i get this
hmm.png
........ i would love to have more in my flock..

That's not right, but I don't know why exactly. If you breed a lavender to the black you will get some splits as babies and you should be able to breed those back together, or back to the lav hen and get a lav.

so if i want a lav offspring of lav breed, breed back to lav hen or back to another offspring of lav, and should get lav no matter the color hatchling come out to be?? or should i breed to another lav offspring??

wow i need to learn to use puncuation and read what i type i just confused myself... majorly

I was wanting them for the second purpose, but I thought they needed lots of room and you could only have a few per cage or they'd kill each other? I'm having enough problems with my coturnix trying to off each other before they are ready for the grill, but the chukar are at least pretty to look at. How many can you have per cage and how many sq feet per bird?

I have this GREAT cd that breaks down the Chukar care... It is not all that hard & their is a trick to it. I will email over the info if you want?

That would be great. There are a few people around me that raise them, I've been thinking about it. What do they taste like?

I wouldn't know, that far into it. But I wouldn't say so. Or maybe I'm reading this wrong. Lol. I'm just researching the Lavs right now.. So, with leaving the terminology out of it...
Basically-

Lav hen x Black roo = Lav split babies that are BLACK in color.

Black Lav split hen x Black lav split roo = a few Black, a few black/splits, and a few Lavs.

I think breeding 2 Lavs will always give you Lavs. But since you have the splash in there, it might mix things up a bit. But I think eventually you would get the same outcome.
