I missed everybody so much. I was lost last night. I ended up in the ER yesterday. The pain got to be too much so I had mom take me in. The ran more test and then they did this disgusting test. It was a CT with dye but they did one that went in a place where things only go out not in, if you know what I mean. Well they said with all the pain pills I am on, it causes a blockage in the right side of my colon
They were a le to unblock it but I have two vertebrae that are almost deteriorated completely. I will have to deal with that later. I feel much better now that I am not so FULL of it.

I didn't get a chance to tell you all. I am get more eggs and hubby is OK with it. I won a bid here on BYC for some WH. She said she always sends a bunch of extras. I won 12 eggs and she will send 16-22 of them and then for $1 she sends mystery eggs. They could be a mixture of brown or white Chinese geese or Polish or other chicken eggs. Hubby is OK with it, as long as I don't keep them all. And I don't want to keep all. I want to start getting purebred ducks. I can't keep the chickens, so he thinks. But I am starting to get places with him.

I think you need some more cayugas, seemed like you like the one you have. My drake was a pretty boy. (he died though =( )

Sebrightmom has blue black and splash cayugas, and her duckies are SO pretty!

My goose eggs have veins!!!!!!! I'm so excited! They looked so awful with their bubbles and floaty air cells I thought they were goners, but 2 of 4 have veining! The roman tufteds are only on day 3, I have a few more days before I know anything on them. They looked much better though, so I'm hopeful for them

I plan on keeping a pair of geese, and at least a trio of calls. I think I may rehome my turkey, I know of someone who would give her a good home who's been looking for midget whites fairly close. Evelle's had too many problems with hers being mean, it's got me a little bit worried. If I do, I'll try to rehome my roo and his matching pullet too, and keep 2 trios of calls.

Sorry so slow trying to figure this thing out. I like my Cayuga but I want some color besides black. Out of the babies I have now, I am keeping the Pekin, The welsh harlequin, And the black sweden. From my older ducks, I am probably going to keep just the buff. Hard decision but I have to try to keep hubby happy too. How loud do those chinese geese get?

I took the babies outside yesterday for the first time. I put them in the big duck Area. they were kind of scared at first but then I brought out my buff named Robyn. They fell in love with her. They would follow her where ever she went. And when she stopped they would all gather around her and gaze up at her eyes like where are we going now mama. It was so cute

Wow so this is the new BYC...... This will be having some getting use to.
Duck girl found out yesterday that peeps died!! I am so so so sorry that's just terrible.
I needed BYC sooo bad yesterday one of my orphington pullets got into a fight with my turkey and the turkey just wen ape gorilla on it her face is all swollen and she snapped her win in half. I for sure though she was dead the way she was laying But then she looked up at me.. she's in the brooder and the ducks are in the tub :/

I hope your orp is fine..... I lost a couple chukars, and saved one! SOLD 5 ~ 1 week old Turkeys for $60. & made an AWESOME chicken tractor! took pics & will post them after I get caught up

I am really not sure when she is sending because the auction e ended sooner than she planned because of the change. I need to email her and find out for sure. It was originally January 16 when she was sending so I wil have to check that out. So glad your eggs are veining!
