I'm home from the barn. And I can hear a baby pecking at the shell!! This is so cool. I am a first, time duck mom. When I was growing up we had a game preserve where we raised our own ducks pheasants quail and peacocks. And we had great big huge incubators. And I remember going out and taking baby's out of the incubator. But that was a long time ago, real long time ago. Oh the baby is peeping. I am so excited.

I just gave my ducks some marigolds, that they smashed, and one of my new ducks called Gabby starts quacking as loud as she can. They love them but hate peas. Gabby is a blue Sweden but she has this little tuft of feathers on the top of her head. But she is SO LOUD and I live in the city. Luckily my neighbors don't hear very well.

See, what did I tell ya? Lol! My ba ies are moving around in there shells to! Found out there was another rotten one so I opened the bator got it out, threw it away, and saw one of the eggs moving! Its so cool! The humidity went down some, but shot right back up in like 1 minute, so I hope they are ok..... I really want to candle but I cant! Lol! Good luck! Keep me..... I mean..... US posted
