mmmm fresh milk

. I still can't post from my cell phone.
I hate the store. $4.32 for milk. Can't wait to get my milk cow "Bessie". (My husband and his friend named her.) She will be a Gurnsey and I will milk her. And then I will drink it.

I've put up most of the framework. Next I'm going to finish the framework and make a door.

Totally unassisted by these lazy ducks, I might add. I dunno how to stop the photo being sideways.

One of the possum houses (resident asleep inside)

Another possum house (no resident at the moment).

I have a new candler coming tomorrow so I am waiting till then. I tried looking in the goose eggs, but I couldn't see anything.

If they have detatched air cells they do better upright, if not put them on their sides. Same for the ducks. I think chickens are fine upright whether they have good aircells or not.

Wouldn't want any of our possums living anywhere on our property on purpose. They're ugly. We don't get cute ones. Your pen is looking great.

Should I go ahead and lay them down? If so just lay them down? No angle or nothing? I have them at an angle now.

what does a detached air cell look like anyways? I don't think I have ever seen one so I am really not sure what to look for honestly

It'll be all wobbly or funny shaped. If you rock the egg slowly from side to side, the air cell will move around. A good one should stay in place. Every one of my goose eggs, and most of my call eggs had bad one's, which is why they are all leaned up. My eggs from my ducks I incubated on their sides.
