Hi everyone

Caught up again.... poor Mr Worf (my muscovy drake) has the dreaded wet feather problem. All my other ducks and chickens are fine. So I put Mr Worf in the bath tub with water so he could get a good bath and now he is drying. I think he just can't reach his oil gland (maybe). I was watching him and he just seems to rub his shoulder area with his head.

Poor boy. When did he last have a good moult?

Well he is only about 7 months old and it seemed like he got got his first real feathers in and then got another set in but maybe he is moulting again. I have only clipped his wings once. if he is moulting it is not like my poor chicken that lost all her head and tail feathers simultaneously (the poor thing)

My drake was supposedly around 7 months when I got him, although I think he was a few months younger. He had messy feathers for a month or so after I got him, then he finished molting and they've been clean since. I don't know much about muscovies and when they molt though, they may be different.
