OMG. Forgot to tell you guys! I looked out the window a couple days ago (just happened to be vacuming and look up) and I saw a FOX mosey across the street back behind the neighbors house. It was 1pm! And I live in the city! It was just walking like a dog would down the street, not a care in the world!

And it was coming from the direction of my yard.
So I ran out the back to check on the ducks, they free range all day, and they were clearly upset. Also my lab was alert and looking around, so I know she smelled it and the ducks probably saw it.

I imagine the fox saw my dog and left.

Crazy!

Let me explain my dog to you. Her name is Shiloh and she is a lab mix. She's 11 yrs old so her hearing is slipping a bit, but she protects the ducks and chickens. I love her.

Those temps that Cocoa put up seem really HIGH butif that is what they say.

Well, I think you should call him when he gets off work and talk to him. Maybe see if you can swap this weekend for next weekend. What are your eggs doing now? Is the lid really taped shut? Maybe I should do that!

I actually really need to go candle and throw out the bad ones. I've been so preoccupied with this duck that I've neglected the others.

Are you singing to them Duckgirl? You have to sing to them. They like to hear music maybe turn on a radio for them.
