Spoke to hubby about setting more eggs And he said if it makes me happy go ahead and do it.
he loves me and wants to make sure I'm happy. He said he would help me with a little buggers. When he's home he's going to be the 1 cleaning the coop and the shelter. He's happy I'm putting sawdust in the house. And I will put a fan it's a little fan I will put it outs when we first got when we first got some of our docs they were still youngide on the floor and it will blow air into the closet. It is a double wide closet. I'm taking out all my summer clothes and putting my winter clothes in and my clothes will go on 1 side of the closet. Most of my winter clothes go into my dresser. He said when the babies are born we can make the bathtub into a brooder. We will line it first with a nice big comforter that we don't use anymore, abd when the babies are ready we can go to sawdust over top of it. Or we can put a heater on the three season porch, make it warm enough in there for them. We have a dog kennel That we can put out there That they can go into and at night we can lock them up. That way my mom can help with the baby if I have any. Plus we can do like we did with the baby ducks before and bring them into the house. That way I can play with them!!

If you mean they have broken through the air cell then that's known as 'internal pipping'. 'Unzipping' means chipping a line in a circle all the way round the egg, which hopefully you will be seeing within the next 48 hours.

Now you know they are going well I'd keep the lid on. Hopefully there will be no need to open it again until you take the ducklings out....!

Ducklings are a lot of work but sometimes ya just gotta do what ya feel ya gotta do.

A bath makes an excellent brooder. Whatever you put in there for them to sleep on, make sure it's easily washable. They will poop it up a storm. Li'l cuties...

Are you almost ready to set Quacker? I should be ready in about 25 minutes. Gotta stop and get some frozen pizza. then I am about 5 minutes from home. Wow gas dropped down to $3.19.
