One of my ducks lays a light blue egg that is round. One duck lays a white egg that is more oblong. Both of the ducklings I have came from the white eggs. None of the blue eggs have ever broken through the air cell. They all die in the egg, fully formed. It's ironic to me.. this chart. Because of the blue eggs I've noticed, their air cells are comparable to day 18. But it's only the blue ones.

Oh and for an update: I just candled-because I can. Also the humidity was up to 80... So no harm no fowl. (Get it? Fowl!? LOL!!)

6 eggs total:

4 white eggs are through the air cell and working on the first pip. Of the 4, one has externally pipped and has moved to another position. It's not zipping. weird.
2 blue eggs, not through the air cell.


Still holding true my theory that there is something wrong with the blue eggs i general.
