im in a better mood now cause I went out and saw they are having a blast!

make me crazy for nothing! Lol. But I am worried about my moms chickens. But im upset that I cant bring my babies

Just had hubby move the incubator so I thought I would candle while it was open. Out of the eggs I bought, I threw one away the other day because nothing had formed at all. Tonight when I candled... one was bad, really bad. It stunk so bad and all you could see inside was a big black blob. Yuck yuck yuck. Glad I found it now before there was a mess.

Ok, almost 24 hours since first pip. The other have only internally pipped. Someone tell me that's normal. 70% ???

Only one pipped externally and the others internal pip only sounds fine. If a duckling had pipped the shell at the correct (fat) end and had made absolutely no further progress at all for over 24 hours I might chip away a little bit of shell.

I know how much this hatch matters. Remember not to be in too much of a hurry to step in though.
