Well, I have opened my bator during the hatch. I did it to remove ducklings and old shells. With my first hatch I had to do it quite often to help a duckling (who is now a huge 8 week old girl). But I think it's best if you keep it to a minimum.

Yay! They are SO much easier than fuzzy butts! I had 100% hatch rate with Emvickrey's eggs. 9 for 9. And they were shipped!
