Ok, caught up again.
Sorry I've been absent, I've been very busy. Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat my husband and I painted our large bedroom. It has high ceilings and some awkward angles and started with one huge red wall. We had to prime the red wall twice, paint the ceiling, paint closet doors (four of them), paint the bathroom and hallway doors, do a bunch of trim around the floor and the four walls. I still need to take some "after" pictures, as I got so tired I didn't have the energy to change the camera batteries! I love it though, it looks great.
Sunday we went to visit the kids and grandkids and have a large family meal, so I didn't have to clean up after that. That's good because I was BEAT.
Monday my husband came down with the flu - he'll be headed back to work tomorrow and was doing ok today. I was pretty well done in Monday myself, though not sick. Today I had to work (I groom dogs) and really haven't done much besides that.
I have to work the next two days too, but glad for a few $$.
Sorry I won't be in on the Christmas card exchange, we don't celebrate Christmas. I appreciate being invited. I do wish you all plenty of fuzzy butts and happy hatches and I hope SM's babies develop. I've always had pretty bad luck with shipped duck eggs - the one time I was going to have a really good hatch my incubator failed and I lost them all. Just plain bad luck! Mostly they were quitters or didn't manage to hatch at the end (I think the air cells take a beating and they don't manage to pip the shell). I sure hope you get some, SM!
