Love those eggs, Country Girl! What a great idea for Christmas tree decorations.

With vent sexing, you really have to turn the vent totally inside out. Otherwise you miss the 'relevant bits'. I found it easiest at two days old. Gets harder as they develop butt muscles.

The pizzas were a hit. We just make bread dough and roll that out for the pizza base. Cherry cake was good too. The ducks are sick of cherries now - they used to eat them but now leave them on the ground. My dog loves them though. Cherry trees only fruit once a year - round late spring/early summer. We also have almond, apricot, fig, quince, pear, apple, pomegranate, mulberry and plum trees.

Really glad to hear that Neo has improved. I wouldn't say it's usual for the last one to hatch to be weak. Sounds like the vitamins are helping him though
