Doesn't it look like it is trying to get out, trying to break through that membrane to get into the air cell? I thought it was so weird looking.

Hey 70% when we were talking the other night about black ducks and their offsprings, well here is a picture of Sofia. Hopefully you can see the green on her.

Hatch date is next Wednesday the 14th. Should I be on lockdown then? I have a bunch of them doing that and I have been turning them 3 to 5 times a day.

how high Is your temp? High temps can cause fast groth (which isnt always good but the ducklings will be ok) the ducklings should be fine. Dont go into lockdown though...

Temp is at 100 degrees and humidity is at 77. It has been steady all the way through. I spray them with warm water everyday. I read somewhere that it makes the shells easier for the ducks to get through. QJ is wiping hers with Qtips and water. We are seeing which one works better. Don't go into lockdown? Keep turning them?

I have about 5 out of 7 eggs doing that. the other 2 are moving but not like the others. I hope they will be ok

I don't want to lose any babies. I don't want to kill any.
