Now we were checking egg thickness..... you wiped your eggs with a qtip with water and I sprayed mine with water. I think spraying them really helped the ducks get through the shell a lot easier. So I think from now on I will spray the eggs everyday with warm water.

I hope that little duckie is strong and can make her prescence know to the big ducks.

Yes, spraying is meant to make the shell more porous. I agree that it's worth trying in future, QJ. Hope this ducky makes it. Where is the hole?

I sprayed my last batch once a day with warm water. Maybe that is why mine came out so quickly. I wish my duckies would stay small. They are so cute and funny right now. I let them out to run around today and they had to try to eat everything in their way.​

Yes this is the one SM. And it's doing well. It's a strong ducky. It's almost ready to hatch. Blood veins are all gone, just leaving in a few more hours to be sure the yolk is good and absorbed. Actually, it might do the rest by itself. I'll give it until tonight.

I'm def. going to spray from now on. Especially since Sm's just popped out of there!

I've never seen this much blood in an egg before. He really pipped a big vein. He's covered in dried blood. Holy Moly!

Love handmade cards, and the little duckies in QJ's were adorable.
It's snowing out! Not enough to turn anything white, but it's so pretty. I like snow, at least until I have to drive somewhere.
