Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

i cant wait till we have baby quackers in the house again, or atall for that matter,
it was cute lastyear we brooded them on the porch for like 5 weeks,
and we have an african grey parrot who talks constantly.
he started peeping like the baby ducks but as soon as they moved outside he stopped,
i miss it

it really is adorable. hes a ham, i argue with him constantly bcuz he is mouthy and has to put his 2 cents into everything.
like when the dog barks he yells riley!,
or when i ask grandma a question, or the cat or dog for that matter, the bird says what, or huh.
he really is a riot.
when you laugh he laughs,

I have quail due to hatch on sunday. My ducks should be 10 days later. I'm not counting the days at all.

I had one almost explode on me in the incubator. They are pretty much impossible to candle, so I couldn't tell it was rotten until it started seeping. Gross!

yea it was grose, luckily the pheasant eggs worked good. they r this pretty dark green color. they looked good on the tree.

Ok, everybody is gone from my house. Almost had a bad experience with the nephew and some steel tip darts... but all is well.
