Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Oh my, I just checked my email and i won some african goose eggs on ebay. I forgot I bid on them, I put in a pretty low bid so I figured I wouldn't win.

How long do geese take to hatch? Guess I better search for info on incubating goose eggs.

OHHHHH HONNNNNEEEEYYYY i found out what i want for my birthday!!
thats beautiful!!! really BEAUIFUL!!

I don't think my duck egg is any good. it just doesn't seem right this morning, and saw no movement. When I tipped it to the side a little it seems like its full of fluid?

still got the one in the incubater though, so maybe i'll end up with a baby duck.

what a beautiful bator, and so big too. and a cute lil chick standing next to it also. Those eggs are so pretty, you need to post pics when they are hatched.

Thanks Everyone, I picked it up for $500 off CL. It holds
588 chicken
456 duk
288 goose
780 pheasant
1,982 Quail

I runs on Mercury Thermometers to gauge Humidity & temperature. You have to buy them preset, & you need 2 to make it work One for the Temp you want, & another for a shut off temp. I am running my bator at 99 3/4 temp with a 100 1/2 shut off temp. I keep my Humidity between 67 - 84 %. It seems to work for me.

Yes hatching is addictive for sure ! Especially when you have a huge bator
