Dude, an emu?

When I was a kid an emu stole my lunch from me at a nature park. I was poised to take my first bite from a peanut butter sandwich and the emu reached over my shoulder from behind and snatched my sandwich. My parents seemed to find it amusing.

Yeah!! Let's get those emus!! I've eaten them too, barbecued (just a bit of rump, not a whole bird

). Really good, like a cross between venison and steak.

I have heard emu meat is right tasty, I have never been where it was served though. we're eating vension right now thanks to a good friend who hunts.​
