(not putting any ducks there)

Ok, I get it. Yes, that would scare me too. It scares me a little putting birds at my dad's. So I get that. I'm just going to get one of those webbed electric fencing deals and put it on a timer.

But I know what you mean.

I would rather them go somewhere else. Not sure why I want that though. Just a feeling...

Is he still going to get birds for himself? If he had a good set up, and you really emphasized the importance of putting them away.... well, maybe not. LOL.

I asked him once if he could help me make a duck pen and he said sure! Well we started and when we finished he told me to go get the silkies and I said "why the silkies?" And he said "werent we makeing a silkie chicken pen?!"....

OK, sorry, but I wouldn't be mad over him making you a silkie pen. Him forgetting it was for the ducks has nothing to do with him being your dad, that's just a man for ya. He was making an effort. You're being to hard on him.

When he asks you when you're bringing ducks over, tell him as soon as we build a duck pen. See what happens.

No, not a silkie duck pen. It was a pen for his chickens. and it was my fenceing that he gave me. Thats why I was mad. That wasnt all of it. Theres many other thing that hes done that made me mad that I shouldnt post.

He's probably going to continue making you mad until you're about... 23. That was right around the age I started actually getting along with my dad well.
Which now that I think about it, was the age I got married. Interesting.

Parents are destined to make teenagers mad. I don't think there's any way around it.

I got along with him til I was about.... 8? Then I got a mind of my own and my brother was born. So he paid alot of attention to him..... He doesnt really even talk to me and my sister anymore

Ain't that the truth! Of course, 20 years later those same teenagers exist to drive their own kids mad
