Ok, here's my strategy... There are 9 hours left on this auction. I will not bid anymore and make them think I have given up.. then when their guard is down, I will sweep in during the last 30 minutes and take the high bid.

I am hoping this works.

I only put in a $13 bid and it's for 24 eggs, I was pretty sure I'd get outbid and wasn't staying up to watch it, lol. At least if I hatch a trio from them, and a goose or 2 from my eggs I won't have to buy any since that's all I want. Stupid hatcheries not having what I want available, it's all their fault you know.

I made a facebook page for my birds too, even though I don't really have any I'll be selling for awhile. I need somewhere to post all my pictures without annoying non chicken people on my facebook page.

That's a perfect name! I love it! I went with QuackerJack because that's how my Grandpa used to call his ducks. "Come on Quacker Jack!" And they'd all come running. I'm nostalgic like that. My grandpa was awesome. I miss him!

I'm going to go for the snowy mallards through Ideal later on in the spring I think. But you're right, if things aren't available, what other choice do you have really?

No I haven't. I saw some in the BYC auction, and there's another listing on ebay that's not as high.. I'm just into the WildHorse Farms birds.

And usually I'm not impressed with "name brand". LOL!

Lol. You might want to double check and ask in the wyandotte thread if they've heard anything about wildhorse's birds or if any people have any. Doesn't hurt to get as much information as you can. Then e-mail them and see if they will sell some outside of e-bay. Maybe you could even get them to sell a combination of blrw and their lavvie orps if you ask really nice.
