julie you dye them the chicks in my avitar where embrioticly dyed..
i have kind of mixed feelings about it i hate seeing poodles dyed pink but if i see a cute little silkie dyed green i melt lol
i could be because i dont like poodles.. shhhh

Yeah, I just dyed my hair yesterday. LOL. Every time I have another baby I get a couple more gray hairs.

Lol. I am thinking about dying them again for easter this year. If I end up keeping my turkey I may dye her pink too. It would be fun to see a huge pink bird running around the yard, bet a lot of cars will slow down to do a double take.

I don't agree with the hatcheries and people dying them to sell them,it makes them look too much like toys not animals. Although when my daughter was a baby and we lived in an apartment I did buy her a pink and a blue chick.

We researched how to take care of them, and found someone to take them when they got older before I bought them though.

that is how our weather has been here to .
the last week it has been above 40 now its like 30 and lower.
we have yet to have a big snow .
just a little that barely stuck . so im anxious to c how the ducks handle it.

c most people dont do that.
they get them expecting them to stay little.
and colorful.
then dump then when they get bigger.

and i do beleive i would stop and take another look if i seen a big pink bird walkin around.


and sorry if im kinda ranting

im in school to be a vet tech , and have an issue with some of the crap people do to their animals.

if all works out i plan to run a farm sanctuary when i get older. and have money (lol)
