OMG!!!!
it must be friday the 13th!!
NOTHING IS GOING RIGHT!!
ripped my fav pants.. broke a plate feeding the chickens left overs. spilt bbq sauce on my new WHITE sweater.
still no sign of Jett and Ebony..
my eggs still look like they havent done anything!! its been WAY OVER A WEEK!!
should i toss them??
can i crawl back into bed and stay there??

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only good new that make all those bad thing is whitey my boxers test came back NO CANCER!! it was an infected cyst.
thank goodness!!

They emailed today saying they are accepting orders.

I want my geese now lol. I'm afraid either I won't hatch any, or I'll get all boys or all girls, and by then they'll either be sold out or done hatching them for the season. I should be able to see if anything's going on in my eggs by Monday at the latest though. I'll just place my order then if need be.

Lol. My fuel pump went out on my truck, my 2 year old took off her pull up and peed on my one year old, I've only had one quail hatch and don't know what other ones are supposed to since I forgot to mark them so I have to leave bad eggs in the incubator until the next set are due, and I missed an egg collecting them yesterday and it froze and blew up all over the other ones. Bed sounds really good to me, but not my kids.

Hey JZ, did you see those Jubilee Orps on Ebay? Apparently someone is listing them using someone else's pic. They won't respond to emails. The bidding got up to $116 and then was removed. Crazy!

its freezing here today but we have not gotten alot of snow yet.

Maybe thats why I liked it so much, I couldn't figure out why you all said it was slow?

Lets turn off some graphics and speed this sucker up.....
Go to your profile and click "edit account details" scroll about 3/4 of the way down to where it says "Site Preferences" and check both of those boxes
Go to "forum preferences" and check every box except the first one.
hit "save" in the lower right.

What we did is turn off as much as the site designers will allow. It does hide the pretty avatars and such.....but nothing is free
I measured a 30% increase in load speed.

must be a bad day for eggs.
i thought the chickens had stopped laying.
i go out to do chores and see a random green egg in the goatpen.
so i climb the 2 fences and as i hike my leg over the 2nd i catch a glimpse of eggs behind the fence against the barn wall.
7 eggs in the nest.
all but 2 split open and frozen.

i suppose now that i took the eggs the girls will move them AGAIN!
i dont like this hide and seek game.

It's freezing here, but just a tiny bit of snow. There's enough that the chickens haven't came out of the coop or run in 2 days though.

Mine do too, but they are on different levels. There's one level with the top of the goose eggs, another level with the top of the duck eggs, and one on the bottom. The top is usually a degree or so higher, and the bottom a degree lower than the middle one, which is ok. If you have a still air there are also hot and cold spots in the incubator too...It's all kind of a pain. They all read the same outside the incubator though.

How much difference is there when they are in the bator. Like a couple degrees or a lot of degrees.
