Yes I still have clothes to be folded, ^ dishes to be done, BUT all I wanted to do was relax & gget toasty & warm !

Did you do this...?... When our power is out, I think to myself, "Oh fine, there's no power... this will give me time to catch up on laundry.. oh wait..

Or, Fine I'll just do the dishes while I'm waiting.. oh wait...

And every time I walk in a room I reach for the light switch.. oh wait...

My kids get on the bus at 6:30AM (I know EARLY) & get home at 3:30PM, so after dinner & reading TV is nice !

Absolutely. We have no TV after 5. I must force them to ... Play. Sucks to be them.

Hi! I've been bust the last couple of days - working on my duck pen and also social things.

I'm just working on putting up some photos.

We got all the plywood up. Still needs some timber trim to cover joints and to tart it up a bit. Also needs the mesh put on it. And then I'll paint it. My plan to have the ducks in it by today didn't work out but it should be habitable by next weekend.

The gap at the bottom of the timber on the side in the pic below was originally inspired by hubby's desire not to cut yet another piece of ply to fit it - instead we'll put mesh there and it'll be a ducky peep hole.







It's amazing how long things take when they seem so simple in your head....
