Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

I got 5 goosie eggs today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! two of the them have a red T on the top,One has like a purple T, there is one with a red H and one with a purple C. What do those mean Celtic???

Oh an one of them has the air cell on the side of the egg instead of on top. what do I do for that?

Yay!!!!

Good flower names Celtic.

Sounds like she marked who laid what. Let me pick mine up and I can tell you who is who.

The sideways aircell, prop it up at like 45 in the bator when you set them and hand turn it. This usually helps settles the aircell back in place. The T eggs are most likely the Toulouse, the H and C are most likely goose names who laid. Will get it clarified though for you.

Thanks I thought you said there was a Sebastopol in there. Or was I just dreaming there was??

Just saw Hitler poop..... it was runny and a combination of clear, white, and normal tan. ???????????? On the bright side, his peep is back to normal and he is running around with the rest.

That sounds good to me! Oh... Name him Patton or Hodges. 2 of the WW2 Senior Generals in the Army (US). The ones that led the defeat of Hitler. ;)

Oh and Iain the Africans we have aren't named as unusual as the other geese. The Gander is Buddy because when he was 2 days old I could say "Wassup Buuuuudy" and he would honk and run in circles then come a running. The Goose is Little Girl because she was so teeny weeny. Now what they should be named is Bonnie and Clyde so much more fitting of their personalities. LoL

Ya know.... since I have been planning to give the goslings to my geese (who are not named) from the very beginning.... I haven't even tried to think of names for my little ones. But, my toulouse shall have names and their own fenced in backyard on the house side of our property.
