Anyone here hatch guineas before?

we have guinea keets coming out our ears in summer (not litterly)
they must be easy to hatch
the moms lay about 30 eggs in the nest
and theres usually veru few eggs left unhatched.
but be aware they are DUMB as a box of rocks,
never hatched them in the bator tho.

As I typed this (swear) the one that external pipped made some more progress. I'm not worried about that one. She can breathe with the pip she made.

It's the second one I'm worried about. She internally pipped yesterday, but she's not moving much today. Last night around dinner time I candled her and she was workin' pretty decent, this morning she's not. I think I'm going to give her another hour and see if she starts up again. Perhaps she's resting.

Qj, what is the latest update on your sebbies?
Bakin, how are your new babies today?
Cg, are your goslings as great as we said they would be?
Dg, did you make it home safe?
Jaz, congrats on another great hatch!
Sm, glad to see you got your scale.
Marty, congrats on getting sebbie eggs from Celtic!!
Celtic, you are one dynamo lady for making so many of us here very happy!!

iaian they are getting there.
they are still just a little bit shy . i dont blame them after their 13hundred mile trip.
but they are warming up to me.
they listen when i talk and then whistle back to me,

did you see the pics of bath time? amelia is such a show off she is going to be the one with all the personality.

I'm gonna try to get a pic from #1, it's so hard to get a good one from outside the bator.
Yes, frustrating! Actually, I think it's more worrisome! (for me anyway.)

If I had a flock of 50 sebbies outside it would be different, but like Pete55 said... every egg is important. (paraphrasing). I need to copy and paste that. He put it VERY well. I like him.

OH- I kept getting up last night (slept by the bator), because I did have 3 more javas hatch, and 3 more pip. It was so loud in that bator! And I could hear goose #1 cooing and whistling. (I swear she was whistling)..

So that's good. I'm up to 4 javas.
