Thanks for the input, I wish I would have asked you sooner, my girlie EyeHeartQuail just bought a dozen from her yesterday. It is her first time she will be hatching anything but Quail... I hope she gets a good hatch... I told her how much fun it is to hatch duckies & I finallly talked her into getting some ...UH OH I guess that makes me an enabler now
I know she will join this forum when she gets them ~ She is my bestie, & if I could have a sista it would be her, we have known each other for many years now!
Its nice to have that one friend who will always have yer back!

Jaz, may I recommend Sebrightmom for cayuga eggs? She's a great lady with sq stock. I had excellent fertility with her eggs and love the ducklings that hatched out. On the other hand, I have ordered 2 sets from pidgey now and they arrived scrambled both times. The 1st set I had always 100% blamed me for only having 1 go to lockdown (and then died in shell). Most got blood rings around day 7. But now I am wondering because this 2nd set is also problematic. All 13 have totally detached cells and fluid issues. I have already tossed 2 blood rings with a careful eye to toss a possible 3rd. I do have 4 with spiders on day 8 and 4 more hopeful to develop, so I am really pulling for them to hatch because I think her stock is beautiful and would be perfect mates for my trio from sebrightmom's hatch. I'm not sure I'd order again from pidgey, but I would definitely get more eggs from sebrightmom. I'm just saying, for what it's worth.
