Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Celtic -

I'm sorry your DH had a bad night. I know that means you are too, and you have lots of responsibilities at home. This must be a very tough time for you. I'm sorry.

I'm also sorry you lost one of your fainting goats. We mysteriously lost a LaMancha milker kind of like that. She was only 3. Go figure. Still sorry.

Glad your eggs are here.

I'm sorry about your baby. It's not your fault. I don't think it was a stuffed baby that did it. Nonetheless, here is a hug for you.

Remember, you are not cursed....life begins, life ends. That is the way of things. (I know, it sucks)

I do not like time change day.

One that we helped a bit to open for breathing is very active, but we are seeing a tiny bit of blood on the edge of the shell. He's been in the bator for about 2 hours, and it seems like a very minimal amount of blood.

I don't know if this is normal, or just from our assistance.

It's normal. Sounds like you are doing great!

Marty, the eggs did not arrive.

Oh, no! Darn P.O. Why do we have to pay them so much for such inconsideration? Remember what pete said, good for 10 days. You are experienced. You have a better chance than many.

Also, remember much of U.S. enjoy cool humid weather last few days. That'll help. I've had duckies come out ok after long P.O. waits, its hard to figure them sometimes. Also remember, much of their time is waiting holding still. They probobly didn't just keep traveling. They are sitting somewhere, with somebody, waiting around.

for anyone and everyone... sounds like it's gonna be one of those days

She threw a toy into it. Little brat.

I agree with Marty, I hate time change day.

I wouldn't touch him again for another 4 hours. Most people say 30 mins to an hour, but that never holds true for me.

Time change day El Sucko! (That's Spanish for SUCKS). Kids are totally off on their naps. Which is no bueno for me. (that's Spanish for no good.)

And just for kicks, my ducks are acting weird. I wonder if that's a solar flare thing. Or a time change thing.

OH and Julie.. I was cleaning windows the other day and notice a spider crack in my living room one. Gee... I wonder who that was.

We're on spring break here so I have all children home with me. Gonna be a long week. They are already on each other's nerves right now.
