Yeah and I really needed more than two. LOL. But if I had say.. a flock of 12 outside then I wouldn't help the non pippers. In fact these black javas that hatched, I had 9 pips so I let the 3 that weren't pipping go. It's a hard call though. Sometimes the emotion takes over and I help too.

I've got a positive from the time change.. 2 of my freeloading hens layed an egg today. This afternoon.. weird timing but I'll take it!

for ducks.. I have 1 week old Buff, Cayuga and Welsh Harliquin for geese I now have (without changeing anyone) 2 Embden (1 goose and 1 Squishy) and 2 (I think Toulouse)

Ahah. Very cool. They all have 2 stripes, one through the eye, and another below it. TSC called them mallards, but I was hoping for Rouens, so they won't fly away.
