We r buildin my duck run

new duck pens! (Or any pen housing something I hatched!

for ducks.. I have 1 week old Buff, Cayuga and Welsh Harliquin for geese I now have (without changeing anyone) 2 Embden (1 goose and 1 Squishy) and 2 (I think Toulouse)

Why don't they have any ducks or geese running aournd or flying???

The final tally, 7 pekins hatched. ( and I did cheat, and go to TSC and buy some mallard/rouens)

You make me want baby ducks soooo bad! I don't go in lockdown until the 21st- a whole week and a day.

Hey CG, its the other way... Mallards = 2 stripes, rouens 1.... Lr thats how it was with my rouens...

I've got at least 4 internal pips now I can see from the outside of the incubator. I'm going to run the humidifier in there and open it up later and turn my eggs and run the flashlight over the top quick and see exactly how many. Good thing it's beautiful out and everyone else is outside full time now, although these guys won't be staying very long. The goslings and calls have finally figured out to follow me, so I walked them to the pool today. They all swam, and the goslings even played and zoomed around underwater. They never do in the tub. It took them no time to figure out how to use the steps in and out of the pool, the 8 week olds still can't. I put them in there and they'll swim, but won't get in on their own.

Funny how things work out. I have an UNO with someone else (CG?) it hatched the day after mine. Now, I have two hatching buddies for next Wednesday! What are you hatching?

SQ Welsh Harlequin eggs ... Giant pekins? Are you gonna eat em? When their bigger of course!

These eggs are the ones I ordered (the 8) and thought they all died on me! .... I hope they dont die during or im done! For good lol
