Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

14 total? What is the brown one? Your "hospital" is like mine... a large tupperware!

I think I saw you said it was a runner that died in the egg? Runners can be crested. Crested x crested = what you saw. :hugs

I have 2 runners in the hospital bed, a black one, with a little white, and a beautiful silver and gray one, I may keep both.

Oh yeah. JONNY IS OUTTA HERE AROUND NOON TODAY! ! HAPPY DANCE

I have a duckling That can't hold his head forward. He acts like he is having convulsions. Small convulsions but you can tell he's not right. Would it be better to let him go?

Morning all.

Julie, those are great to seed with too. Love clover and it goes so far too! It burns up down here so is only a winter cover crop. Pumpkin, watermelon, peas, carrots all work too. Apple trees are a great addition for goose keepers too. We have added 3 this year that grow well in our heat in hopes to offer the fruit to the geese.

Cute new hatchling pictures all. We have another Sebbie hatched,an African gosling, and 5 Toulouse externally pipped. 2 more African heading to lockdown, 3 more Sebbie. Oh and buttload of ducks too.

We picked up a new 6 month old goat to keep our withered fainting goat company. She is all white with black leg markings. Very sweet little girl, still very shy still right now.

I also had 10 polish creole chickens hatch last night. I had 14 But 3 of them died a while ago And 1 was so shrunk wrapped that I couldn't even help. I also don't think my african geese are fertile I saw blood rings in each of them. Nothing happened in the call ducks either. And then the Toulouse eggs that I got in the mail I think they're scrambled.
