Ok, I have 2 blue fawns and a butterscotch in the dryer...one butterscotch just kicked off it's shell (tiny baby)...and the last butterscotch is still hanging in it's shell (haven't pulled it's head out yet).
3 silkies coming out of their shells with 3 more externally pipped. Need to look at the last silkie egg to see what's up with it.

Goodnight!

Hey all! Not going to bother to catch up tonight.

However, I need help. I had 9 healthy ducklings hatch between last night and this evening. The last of the duckies has feet that won't flatten out. Can anyone talk me through "splinting" the feet open? I'm sure one of you has done this before. I'm hoping there aren't any slipped tendon issues to go along with this.

It's been a few hatches since I've had a duckling with issues. I consder myself blessed to have not had more "ducky can't walk right" drama.

I've got buyers coming out my ears. *yikes*

Can you spread them open and tape them? Got a pic?

. If I could get funding for it I so would! I'd prefer one closed to the public. Except on meat shortage days. Bratty Children make great appetizers

WOW look at that! You got browns, tibetans, italians, and possibly some roux dilutes (if the yellow chicks have black stripes they are italian, if they are brown stripes they are roux dilute) Great mixture! How many eggs did you have hatching?
