Kevin, I'm about as far from being a pack rat as one gets and it drives my husband crazy. lol But when it comes to something animal related, I hang on to those things, as there will always come a point in time it will be re-purposed.

Oh yes they defiantly do. I have rabbit cages and dog kennels that everyone outgrew but make pretty good brooders.

Yes. I'm hoping they have a tour the farm day thing again like they did last year. I didn't get to go then, but I would love to see all the different varieties in person.
Lol, I keep all old animal cages too. They are very useful at times.

That would be so much fun! They have so many different colors for sale there. I live by some peafowl farm but that guy was a complete...

. Needless to say he didn't get any of my business.

Very pretty. I wonder if they could live with mandarins if I built a pen.

I like my friendly birds though, so don't know if I'll be getting any exotics any time soon. Maybe when the kids are older and I have more time.

Exotics are so pretty! However, the friendly factor is defiantly a perk of the domestic birds.

Shouldn't have shown me that, lol. It says they are easily tamed on there too....and I need to build a pen to separate out my 2 groups of calls for next spring anyway...

At least pheasant breeding season seems to be over. So I'm safe until spring unless I find an adult pair nearby.

Luv yer peafowl ! I got two eggs as extras in one of my pheasant auctions! Hey I bought 6 impeyan eggs to hatch & not a one hatched. SO I have to wait til next year. They are on the top of my list, and am bumed I won't have any growing this year. However I did get a total of 11 pheasants ~ Swinhoes & Elliotts!

I also set 118 Giant Pekin Ducks! As well as more anconas & other fun fowl!

Thanks! Sorry to hear about the Impeyans but Swinhoes are still stunning! I wish I could find some down here but everyone sales the occasional ringneck. A empty upstairs of a 120 X 70? There's no way I could control myself with that much space! I'd have a whole aviary up there! 118 Pekin Eggs?
