Three day old keets fail to thrive?

Lost 2 more guineas (one of each type) and 1 turkey in a separate pen...

I wonder if I'll lose all of them at this rate. 2-3+ a day isn't normal when housing conditions are right...

I am repeating my post from the Guinea thread just in case it gives some ideas to @Wickedchicken6 or @KikisGirls

He posted a picture of the posture the keets have as they are dying, I recognize it, its called opisthotonos. (stargazing, twisted neck, wry neck - the neck is bent backwards) It is always a VERY bad sign that usually means death is coming soon, no matter the species.

Do you have vitamins to boost these keets? Specifically, Vit E and thiamine (B1). NutriDrench for poultry is a good source of Vit E although you should supplement thiamine also. Vit B is easily broken down by sunlight, so old vitamins or ones that have been in the light may have it broken down already. Since it started when you got them (before you offered feed/water), I wonder about the parents diet. But mold or stale feed that you are giving them now may be culprits too.

May also be stargazing in the chick, from what I know that is poorly understood.

This supplement was given the first 2 days before corrid.

The feeds mill date was not even 3 weeks ago. I'm going to go buy a small bag of chick starter and give that to see if it helps any.
