Three Ladies

Hello All, I was wondering why my Ladies are not interested in their scratch grain
They love corn on the cob and string beans though .
I saw an ad for freezing corn kernels in a muffin pan for a cool treat in summer
However one lady said not to give them cool water is can up set tummy 's
Is this true ??? Thank you all for taking time to read my ramblings..

Did you just start giving it to them? My birds sometimes take a while to try new things.

Also, chickens don't have stomachs. They have a crop, proventriculus, and gizzard. I'm sure the lady meant well but if she doesn't know that much I'd fact check before taking her advice.

It's silly but I knew that, My mom use to tell me
But I read this article and never gave it a thought
I never did give them to frozen corn , I wanted to

It had been so hot they hide in our dog house.
We have a lot of shade here and it's only this hot for a bit
Of over a week, Then we settle down to somewhat normal temps.

They eat the scratch sometimes,
My husband say's that his friends love their
Scratch but mine are spoiled. They receive treats but
Not all the time, They seem to enjoy moths and grasshopper's .
Since it's a large yard they are quite busy ..Smile*
