The easiest way is to make a stock solution.
For example, if the dosage is one ounce per 25 gallons, then it's 1/25th oz for one gallon. Pretty hard to calculate. So, take a canning jar and measuring cup and put one ounce in a water solution of 25 (or thereabouts) ounces. Then draw one fluid ounce from that and mix it in their drinking water.
Check for storage directions on the medication. You might just keep your stock solution in the fridge.
