The weather was beautiful and their cage was beginning to stink, so our little chicks got their first real outing.

When you take the biddies out do you have them in some kind of pen with a top on it? Just be careful because I have had a hawk come down after a baby with me standing right there beside them.

Isn't it great seeing them explore the world for the first time. I could do that a million times and have it never get old. Good luck, enjoy and have some fun with them.

Aah! Don't tell me that. They do have a pen with a lid on which they were supposed to stay in. My eldest daughter dropped hers and the other one just darted out and past me while I was taking pictures.​
