Three week olds outside?

I have mine in the brooder, which is outside until they are about 6 weeks and then they are put in a seperate aviary on the ground for good...

I brood mine on the screened porch from the day they arrive.
They start out in a little tykes play box and when they start flying I put them in a rabbit cage it is large and airy and cleaning it is easy. I put it on a cardboard box and cover the inside with hay they turn the hay and the heavier poop and food fall through the wire onto the cardboard which is easily changed every other day without disturbing them.

Well, as said before my chicks are 3 weeks and I have their brooder set up in a 3 x5' box in my mudroom, keep the doors closed so the dog and cat can't get them. We take them out of their brooder a few times a day and let them explore in the mudroom and they love it! Today I did take the gals out to their coop/run for a few hours and they had a blast! They seemed to take to it right away and claimed the place as their own!
