I like pheasant but I've never had a reason to get them and for some you have to have a license to have them, and inspections.

We only need a permit if getting Ring Necks.

Here we can own Pheasants as long as they don't resemble Ring Necks, & another type, I just can't remember.

I've heard that when making new breeds they're kinda inbred with all the backcrossing, are you going to cross back at some point?

If I were to back cross, I'd probably back cross to Malay X Sumatra/Cracker Hens, & Malay X EE. I don't know yet though.
