Thanks off to look at it… I figure the Saipan and Jersey Giants will weight a bit when mature and I will need better scales…

From what I read about them, is they take along time to fill out in the breasts.

Yes, that is what I read too… so it will be a wait and see how they grow sort of thing. We had two Mixed Asian Game before, slow growing was definitely what we observed so I am expecting the same from the Saipan.

Malays are faster growing then the Saipans. Malays had nice full breasts, & about 8lbs as early as 3 months, & are still pretty filled out.

The person who bought my Malay cockerel had Saipans at one point, but apparently they died during the winter cause they didn't build enough body fat, nor had much breast muscles to tolerate the cold weather.

We're in an ice storm right now, & will have one more system come through tomorrow, I think.

So, hopefully these will be the last winter storms of the season. I gotta coop to build.
