Gonna clean the bantam coop today, & the brooders next Tuesday. Then the last coop to clean out is the Standard coop. Breeding can start once I get all this stuff out of the way. Plus I have to prepare for the turkeys.

Usually I'm not this busy. Just alittle behind on certain things due to weather.

Separating 5 hens tomorrow, the 12th I can start breeding them to specific roosters. The first birds are for a couple friends, & are going to be broody raised for a few weeks before they get them.

Separating 2 EEs, 2 Malays, & one Silkie for breeding for purebreds.

First friend is getting 4 EE chicks, 3 Silkie chicks, & 4 random mixed breeds.

Second friend is just getting Malays, giving them 3 out of 5, I'm keeping back 2 females.

The bantam coop didn't get cleaned today as planned. A quick visit to friends house wasn't that quick. Ended up being over there for an hour, & a half instead.

Planned Broody raised chicks are:

Silkies, for my Giant Silkie project. Maybe some regular Silkies too.

Babies from my boy Dino, & his sister.

Friends' chicks.

I'll take pictures of the peeps when they hatch.

I do wish I had a second spot where I can separate, & breed my next group while these guys are being hatched.

Couldn't separate the birds I wanted today, so I'll have to wait, plus we have thunderstorms rolling in on tomorrow, Saturday, & Sunday.
