Tick on chicken

I just found a tick on the back of one of my chicken's head where she wouldn't be able to reach. It was a regular tick, not a fowl tick. I am concerned that she may get an infection. Any suggestions on how to treat for this or what I should lookout for? Many thanks

I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Just make sure she's eating, bright and alert.
