Tick?

Went in today to make sure my broody ladies drank and ate and saw this on Bootsy! Is this a tick? I didn’t know if chickens can get ticks on them like my other animals! I don’t see anything else on the rest of their flock! I’ve read horror stories on mites and hoping to god they aren’t mites! I’ve checked all in our coop like I read that you would see them in cracks and stuff didn’t see anything!

Mites would be scurrying all over. Very tiny--think poppy seed (and tinier). This does appear to be a tick, perhaps a baby one! Nasty little creatures anyway!

It was gone the next morning one of the others must of ate it i didn’t think so about mites but was so worried! Ty for taking the time to respond.
