No, actually I've never had any problems with them at all.

It's just that 95F at 95% humidity is my normal summer weather so I make sure that they have options if something did go wrong.

Rent-A-Coop.

Tighten them by hand instead of using the drill attachment that might crack the bucket. Don't forget to put a little vent hole in at the top to break the vacuum if you've got an airtight lid.

The gasket comes on the Rent-A-Coop nipples. It's important to push it all the way tight against the red plastic before installing or the nipple could leak.

That's for folks who drill the wrong size hole See my link.

Might want to get 1/8" NPT fittings...these nipples won't self thread into PVC pipe very well, if at all.
