Time to move the baby out of mommy and daddy's room....

Yeah, our kids think our bed is a treat for a sick kid. They get scared, they bring pillow and sleeping bag in and crash on the floor. Glad to hear you aren't on the couch or in Timmy's room!

OK how secure is that TV?

Most of mine were in their own rooms. Then last son we had a small place. OK that was a 5 yr ordeal. Then got one of the grand babies. Had her own room, youngest son had his. Moved here temporarily and while our house was in escrow. Grand daughter was in our room. Husband died, no new house. I'm sleeping with a 5 year old. MY back aches! Beats having my 6'1" 15 year old son sharing the bad with me though, so I guess I'm actually in better shape than I could be.

And people ask why I'll sleep in a chair.

tv is way out of reach, and the dresser has half the drawers screwed shut and bracketed to the wall so the cords are inaccessable also.

Having the baby in your room with you is really nice. And it's extra nice when they are ready to go to a room of their own. Mom's and Dad's need to be husbands and wives as well.

Love that pic of the squirrel with couch!

Anyhow, I think it is fabulous and independence is the way to go. I "kicked" my daughter out of our bedroom when she was about six months of age, stopped breastfeeding and it never troubled her since then. Now she sleeps on the couch......that's another thing!
