Thanks, the BSL peanuts went to their new home today. That was more difficult than I expected, I know they had to go but they had great personalities and would follow me around the yard. Guess I grew attached to them more than the Silkies over the past four weeks.

Any way on to the coop. It will be an elivated 4x5 coop not incliding the nesting boxes with a 8X5 run which includes space beneth the coop. Here is a pic of the Silkies getting used to the 100+ degree temperatures.

It's been awhile since I last posted but the work continues.



Two walls up, siding on, insulation in, hardware cloth on the lower run and the coop moved to its final location.

Spent the day roughing in the third wall a nesting boxes. This is taking much longer than expected.
