I hatched out some easter eggers and jersey giants a month ago. All of them are doing great and have most of their feathers. Except one that is half or less the size of the others and doesn’t have it’s big feathers yet. It is running around fine and is not sick. Has anyone else ever come across this? We have no small chickens on our farm and are very careful to keep the different breeds separated.

I brought home two EE and two Wyandottes from TSC this August. One of the Wyandottes is growing so much slower than the rest. Here acts just like the rest, but it's so tiny. I wonder if these kinds of chicks ever catch up, or if they are always going to be tiny.
This is a picture from the first week. They are 8-9 weeks now. The difference just keeps getting bigger.

Just depends I think how the genes for a chick matches up as both parents contribute to a chick. With a Barred rock and a sexlink cross I got a supersized but mostly beautiful roosters, With the Ameraucana on RIR, some hatches were about same size as mom and dad and others were smaller
