Tiny Christmas tree lights for coop

Battery powered lights do eat up a lot of money, and keep in mind if you have cold weather, the batteries die even faster! The rope lighting is made for outdoors, you could easily run a outside extension cord to them...set them on a timer so you don't need to worry about off and on!

, Judy, I'm talking about a small string of tiny lights, like for the christmas wreath (or sm tree). They run using a couple of batteries. Problem that has been identified is that the batteries are short lived. hmmm. I could use rechargeables... But most likely will use an extension cord.

Curious, are the red lights only so you can see and not to give heat? I am looking to extend daylight a bit if possible.
