Hello all! I woke up this morning to let my 6 ducks out. 3 of the ducks are still ducklings at 8 and 7 weeks. The other 3 are adult pekins. Well, underneath the baby ducklings was this tiny egg! I don't think my adult birds laid it...could one of the ducklings have laid it? 20180430_070914.jpg 20180430_070826.jpg

Well, I have only gotten the small one so far. One of the adult Pekins is laying on the best right now. Since we started integrating the ducklings with the adults 2 weeks ago, the laying of the adults has been up and down. They have decided to lay later than normal, and only lay about 2 eggs a day. Do you think they are still stressed and this is one of their eggs? The thing that made me think it was the ducklings, was becuase the egg was on their side of the duck house addition. But they are way too young!

Who do you think laid it? I know chickens lay fart eggs, but we have never had our ducks lay an egg as tiny as that. Even when our adults first started laying, they laid large ones.
That happens and not uncommon..Anything that lays eggs can lay fairy eggs too..:frow
